Jacob Naimark — Paralegal, JNaimark@NJCIC.org

Jacob joined the Consortium as a Paralegal in 2022, after spending two years developing solar energy on affordable housing, schools, and houses of worship. At the Consortium, he supports direct representation of children seeking legal relief, and he performs client intake and referral services. During Jacob’s time in the solar industry, he partnered with immigrant communities in Boston to expand access to clean energy. He observed how environmental threats increase immigration to the US, while they also cause inequities once immigrants arrive. He is excited about both the Consortium’s focus on legal relief for child immigrants, as well as its efforts to improve access to health care and education. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from Columbia University, and he speaks Spanish. In his free time, Jacob enjoys running, singing, and snowy adventures in the outdoors!
